"Nadine's one of the few people I trust in this business. She's a straight shooter and her book tells you everything a musician starting out needs to know. "

KFOG, 104.5 Radio Interview this Thursday A.M. , 1/08

Hey peeps, start your New Year off right by listening to Nadine on the KFOG morning show, TOMORROW January 8th at 8:10 a.m. Thatís 104.5 on your FM dial.

Channel 4 Live TV Interview this Saturday, 1/10

Watch while Iím interviewed on live TV by the Bay Areaís most esteemed reporter, the irrepressible Henry Tenenbaum. Appearing on the Channel 4 morning show at 8:45 a.m. (Ouch, these morning shows are not conducive to rock and roll hours! )

Belated but heartfelt thanks to SF Chronicleís Jane Ganahl

Jane Ganahl wrote a fabulous piece that appeared on the front page of the Saturday Datebook on December 20th. I was already back east and unable to reply appropriately at that time. Jane said many nice things about me, but the most rewarding aspect of the article is that Jane talked about the musicians who played gratis ( PC Munoz, Essence, Kingstreet Crossing and Eli Braden) and the charities involved (Catherineís Center, Little Kids Rock and Good Samaritan Family Resources.) Jane has always been a friend to the Arts in SF and I thank her for remembering our music community with her kind words. You can access the story here at the SFgate.com web site.

A brief word on your email addresses...

Last month, I experienced some unfortunate internet issues, which sent my newsletter out multiple times (without my knowledge). Now, I am uncertain who is, or is not, in my address book. If you have asked to be removed in the past, and find yourself back on the list, please do not hesitate to let me know and accept my humble and sincere apologies for any inconvenience. Thank you.

Seminar rescheduled!

Due to a scheduling and computer snafu at SF State, my "Real World Music Business" seminar is being rescheduled. The new date will be in my next newsletter. If you already registered, please contact SF State for more info. Many thanks.
